Kathryn Sponsored walk around IOW!
On 2/3 May I am hoping to complete a sponsored walk of the circumference of the Isle of Wight, 106km or 66 miles (that's in one go!).
Ryan, a Youth Worker at New Life, Croydon, suffered two major strokes in 2024, aged 32. I have known Ryan and his wife Izzy for many years. Izzy was friends with my eldest daughter through secondary school and I knew Ryan through church.
Despite the doctors’ original negative prognosis Ryan has made many miraculous milestones.
However, he is currently living in a care home in Purely and can't go home to Izzy and five-year-old son, Isaiah, because their small flat can't accommodate his ongoing and complex care needs.
In response we, Ryan and Izzy’s friends and family, are fundraising for a home where they can finally be together again one day.
